Bradley Allen Feddersen was born to Larry and Marjorie Feddersen on June 13, 1966, in Battle Creek, Iowa. He attended elementary, middle, and high school at Anthon-Oto and participated in many activities including his favorite sports of baseball and football. Brad graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of South Dakota where he was a walk on football player.
After college Brad spent a year in Russia working for Monsanto where he helped Russian farmers put farm machinery together and that was an experience he loved to talk about. He eventually returned to the family farm and custom fed cattle with his dad, Larry, for many years. After being introduced to Wagyu cattle, Brad and Larry decided to move to feeding fullblood Wagyu for themselves and began marketing the product under the Feddersen USA Wagyu brand.
In 2020 when COVID reached the United States and caused restaurant closures, Brad was forced to sell Feddersen USA Wagyu products online and shipped the award-winning beef all over the United States. Feddersen USA Wagyu eventually expanded its offerings to include seasonings, branded merchandise, and a custom steak flipper on the ilovewaygu.com website.
Brad’s hobbies included hunting, fishing, weightlifting, and attending his children’s activities.
Brad and former spouse Shawna have two children whom he adored, SophieRae and Dash.
In addition to Shawna and his children, Brad is survived by his parents Larry and Marge Feddersen; sister Kim (Jim Jr.) Burma; brothers Michael Feddersen and Paul (Erin) Feddersen; nephews Jimmy (Alexis) Burma and Quinn Stewart; nieces Maddie Burma and Jillian Stewart; and great-nephew Jones Burma.
Brad was proceeded in death by grandparents Lester & Maxine Feddersen and Frank & Bernice Carr.
