Jacquelyn Ann Frost, age 94, of Onawa, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at the Burgess Health Center of Onawa, Iowa.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Mapleton, Iowa. Father William A. McCarthy will officiate. Inurnment will follow in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery of Mapleton, Iowa.

Jacquelyn “Jackie” Ann Frost, the daughter of Reuben and Marguerite (Shea) Frost, was born on December 03, 1929, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She grew up in Council Bluffs where she received her education and graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School.
After high school, Jackie moved to Phoenix, Arizona, where she furthered her education in computer technology and became a computer programmer.
In the late 90’s, Jackie returned home to Iowa to be closer to her family. A devoted and faithful Catholic, Jackie’s profound Catholic roots and strong faith stayed with Jackie throughout her entire life. She took her Lord and Saviors hand on May 11, 2024, at the Burgess Health Center of Onawa, Iowa, at the age of 94.
Jackie’s hobbies included attending church when she was able, gardening, and caring for her cats.
Left to cherish her memory are her nephew Curt Smith of Council Bluffs, IA; nieces: Karen Smith of CA, Madeline Shadden of Council Bluffs, IA, Marguerite Stephens of Sioux City, IA, Jerrilyn (Paul) DeBolt of Blair, NE, and Lorre (Lyle) Marshall of Omaha, NE; extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Reuben and Marguerite Frost; three sisters, one brother, six nephews, and two nieces.
