Kimme Jo “Kim” Welte age 52, of Gilbert, Arizona, passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at her residence.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 4, 2022, in the Danbury Catholic Cemetery of Danbury, Iowa. Father Bill McCarthy will officiate.

Kimme Jo Welte “Kim” was welcomed into her eternal home on January 5, 2022, at her residence in Gilbert, Arizona.
She was the daughter of Edward “Ed” and Patricia “Pat” (Larson) Welte, born on March 15, 1969, in Sioux City, Iowa.
Kim grew up in Danbury, Iowa. During her high school years, Kim was active in band, jazz band, choir and cheerleading. She graduated from Maple Valley High School with the class of 1987. After high school Kim went on to further her education at Western Iowa Tech Community College of Sioux City, Iowa. She obtained her Medical Secretary Diploma in 1990, Accounting and Office Support Diploma in 1992 and her Associates of Applied Science Admin Assistant in 1992.
She secured employment in doctor offices throughout Siouxland before relocating to Gilbert, Arizona. In Arizona Kim worked for the City of Mesa, American Traffic Solutions, and Motorola where she worked in the business offices. She had worked abroad training staff in an administrative capacity for several of her employers.
In her spare time Kim enjoyed embroidery, spending time with her family, leisure reading, and playing slots with her parents at the local casino as well as casinos in Arizona.
Survivors include her mother Patricia “Pat” Welte of Danbury, Iowa; sister Kelle (Thomas) McCann of Mesa, Arizona; nephews: Doug (Megan Ohlhauser) McCann and their daughter Aubrey, and Nick McCann; aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.
Kim was preceded in death by her father Ed Welte; paternal grandparents Gerald and Laura (Collins) Welte; maternal grandparents Robert and Vivian (Kelsey) Larson.
