Nancy Ann Edmundson, age 90, of Ute, Iowa, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026, at the Crawford County Medical Hospital in Denison, Iowa.
Nancy’s wishes were for cremation and Private Family Services will be held at a later date.

Nancy Ann Edmundson, the daughter of Thomas V. and Meta D. (Kohler) Welch, was born on June 4, 1935, in Marathon, Iowa. She was raised in Marathon, where she attended school and graduated with the Marathon High School Class of 1952.
On December 14, 1952, Nancy was united in marriage to Earl E. Edmundson. To this union four children were born: Eric, Robert, Greg, and Linda. The couple made their home in Laurens, Iowa, where they raised their family and built many lasting friendships. Following their retirement, Nancy and Earl relocated to Arkansas, where they enjoyed volunteering as ushers for Arkansas Razorback sporting events.
After Earl’s passing in 2019, Nancy returned to Iowa in 2020 to be closer to her family. She was active in Bible study with her church family at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Ute, Iowa. In earlier years, she also shared her musical talents as a member of the church’s bell choir at her church in Arkansas.
Nancy was an accomplished seamstress who lovingly made many clothes for her family over the years. She especially cherished time spent supporting her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Whether attending sporting events, concerts, or school activities, Nancy was always present in the crowd, proudly cheering them on as their number one fan.
In her free time, Nancy enjoyed meeting friends for coffee downtown and a good conversation. Her family remarked “If you met her once, you loved her”. She also found joy in working jigsaw puzzles and completing her daily Sudoku puzzle.
Left to cherish Nancy’s memory are her children: Eric (Peggy) Edmundson of Missouri, Greg (Terri) Edmundson of Arkansas, and Linda (Dave) Seieroe of Ute, Iowa; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; along with extended family members and many dear friends.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Meta Welch; her husband, Earl Edmundson; her son, Robert Edmundson; her brothers, Jack (Ev) Welch and Bill (Mary) Welch; and her sister-in-law, Laura Lee (Bill) Edmonds.
