The family lived at New Providence, Iowa and moved to Anthon, Iowa in 1950. As a young child, Keith attended St. Joseph Catholic School in Anthon and later went to the public school, graduating from Anthon-Oto High School with the class of 1968. He attended Iowa Lakes Community College at Estherville, Iowa where he studied in agriculture and automotive classes. He returned to Anthon and began his career in farming, first with his dad for many years and later on his own until the present. Keith married Jaclyn Burow August 12, 1983. They had a daughter, Skye, born November 16, 1986. Though they later divorced, the family remained close until the end. Keith came to all of Skye's theater performances and came to all of his granddaughter's events and accomplishments. He was a wonderful grandfather, devoted to their every need. They completed life for him. A huge passion in Keith's life was using his spare time to restore old cars and tractors. He was a dedicated MOPAR man without a doubt! Keith, Frank Welte, and Doug Corey owned a boat together for years and spent many good times with family and other friends on the Lakes at Okoboji. Adding to the fun, Keith and Frank bought a lakeside home on East Lake, also creating more good memories. Those survivors left to embrace their memories of Keith include his daughter, Skye Larson and her husband, John, of Milford, Iowa; his two beautiful grandchildren, Alicia and James Larson; his mother, Arlene Wright of Battle Creek, Iowa; three sisters and their husbands, Carma and Jon Manns of Lake Charles Louisiana, Deb and Stan Todd of Cushing, Iowa, and Sandy and Bill Ortner of Danbury, Iowa; two uncles, and their wives, Richard and Mary Lou Lawler of Eldora, Iowa and James and Hazel Wright of Collins, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews. Keith left behind many friends to keep his memory alive. He was preceded in death by his father, Gene Wright; an infant brother, Anthony Lee Wright and a brother Robert Dean "Bob" Wright; his paternal and maternal grandparents; and aunts, Marilyn Harvey, Lucille Dakins, and Frances Schaffer; uncles, Louis, Raymond, and Verle Lawler, and Jesse James and his wife Ethel Wright.
