Hattie Jo Dougherty, age 2 days, passed into the arms of Jesus, on April 26, 2025, at UnityPoint Health St. Luke’s Hospital in Sioux City, IA.
A Private Family Graveside Service will be held in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery with Father William A. McCarthy officiating.

Hattie Jo Dougherty, infant daughter of Ryan and Samantha Dougherty, was welcomed into the world at UnityPoint St. Luke’s in Sioux City, IA, on April 24, 2025. Born early, Hattie was cherished for two days before passing gently into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus.
Although her time was short, Hattie Jo moved mountains and was dearly loved by her family. She is survived by her parents Ryan and Samantha Dougherty of Mapleton, IA; sister Hazel; grandparents Steve (Stacie) Halbur, Dan (Jill) Dougherty and Mary Joan (Stan) Arnold; aunts and uncles, Brittany (Adam Klein) Hermsen, Haylee Halbur, Derek (Kendra) Dougherty and Tim (Carina) Dougherty; great grandparents Suzanne Dougherty, Willy (Vivian) Morfitt, Bennye Savala; and extended family.
Hattie was welcomed into her eternal home in heaven by her great grandparents Bob Dougherty, Vernon Wilhite, Norman (Inez) Halbur, and Richard Savala.
