Obituary for Deloris M. "Tenor" Schrunk
Deloris "Tenor" Schrunk was born on November 30, 1922, in Danbury. She was the daughter of Patrick and Irene (McQuillen) Fitzpatrick. She graduated from St. Patrick's Academy and National Business College in Sioux City. She was employed in the Army Intelligence Office at Hill Field, Ogden, Utah, for three years. On May 12, 1949, Deloris was united in marriage to Richard Schrunk at St. Patrick's Church in Danbury. Deloris was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Mary's Rosary Society and a past member of the Willow Vale Golf club. Survivors include one daughter Irene Schrunk of Sioux City; one son Michael Schrunk and his wife Sharon of Spirit Lake; four grandchildren, Nicholas, Caedryn, Erin and Gineal; one niece Margaret; and one nephew Eugene. Along with her husband, Deloris was preceded in death by her parents and her two brothers and one sister.
