Constance “Connie” Marie Riddle, age 87, of Hilo, Hawaii, passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center of Hawaii.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 19, 2017, at the Little Sioux Township Cemetery of Smithland, Iowa. The Rev. Kara Larson will officiate. Constance “Connie” Marie Riddle, 87, of Hilo, Hawaii died August 1, 2017 at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center. She was born on June 28, 1930, in Champaign, Illinois.
Constance was a retired school teacher and librarian for schools throughout the Midwest and Hawaii. She was a member of the United Community Church in Hilo, the Hawaii Island Retired Teachers Association, and the Senior Nutrition Center.
Left to cherish her memory include her brother Lawrence (Sue) Riddle of Republic, Missouri; sister Christine (Roger) Larson of Prairie Village, Kansas; three nieces, Susan (Eric) Stewart Johnson of Kansas City, Missouri, Julie Larson of Prairie Village, Kansas, and Kara Larson of Omaha, Nebraska; one nephew, David (Lori) Riddle of Blue Springs, Missouri; and three great nephews, Dan Stewart of Kansas City, Missouri, David Stewart and Samuel Stewart, both of Columbia, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Gladys Riddle, and sister, Mary Ellen Riddle.
