Christie Mae Zediker, age 68, of Mapleton, Iowa, passed away on Friday, May 21, 2021, at the Elmwood Care Center of Onawa, Iowa.

Christie Mae Zediker, the daughter of Clark and Dorothy (Pyle) Zediker, was born on January 6, 1953, in Schaller, Iowa. She grew up in Mapleton, Iowa and received her education in the Maple Valley Community School District.
You may recall Christie from the Cheers Bar which she owned and operated in Mapleton for 30 years before retiring.
Christie enjoyed gardening, flowers, bowling, riding horses, and farm life.
Survivors include her mother Dorothy Zediker of Mapleton, IA; brother Clark, Jr. (Renea) Zediker of Denison, IA; sisters Linda Hanson of Charter Oak, IA and Tracy Ehlers of Vail, IA; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Christie was preceded in death by her father Clark M. Zediker; brother Jeff Zediker; and niece Hope Marie Hanson.
