Obituary for Bonnie B. Hayworth
Bonnie Belle (Fuller) Hayworth was born December 6, 1923, at Oto, Iowa, the daughter of George and Mattie (Phillips) Fuller. She grew up at Oto and graduated from Oto High School. On December 11, 1945, Bonnie was united in marriage to Eugene Francis Hayworth at the Federated Church in Oto. Eugene passed away October 21, 2012. For years, Bonnie worked as a seamstress at Younkers in Sioux City. Along with her skills in sewing, Bonnie was an excellent cook and was also known for the delicious pies and the corn rolls she baked. For a time, she worked with her daughter-in-law at the Town and Country Cafe in Anthon. Bonnie loved to fish especially with her grandkids, whom she dearly loved. She also appreciated the days spent outdoors gardening and then bringing her produce indoors to can for the winter days ahead. Family members left to embrace their memories of Bonnie include her son and his wife, Phillip and Stella Hayworth of Anthon, Iowa; a daughter, Ruth Hayworth of Des Moines, Iowa; four grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, and his wife, Herman and Mildred Hayworth of Fair Oaks, California. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister in infancy, Eva Lenore Fuller.
